IMI, 7th in Global Automotive EMS Revenues
August 19, 2015, Laguna, Philippines — Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI), a provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and power semiconductor assembly and test services, now ranks 7th in the list of top automotive EMS providers of New Venture Research based on 2014 EMS-related revenues. This is an improvement from the previous 8th ranking in 2013.
IMI’s revenues in the automotive segment rose 16 percent to US$321 million in 2014 from US$276 million in 2013 mainly due to the steady global growth trend and the normalization of the market in Europe. This shows not only the long term growth potential of the automotive market in electronics but also IMI’s commitment to widen and strengthen its foothold in the industry.
