IMI, Proud Back-end Support for Front-liners

With the global demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies, Integrated Micro-Electronic, Inc’s skeletal workforce has been busy working on the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) requirements for an ultrasonic welding equipment.

The welding equipment will be used by a customer, an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) to allow them to produce more medical textiles, filters for syringes and medical devices, and disposable pharmaceutical garments (i.e. surgical masks and gowns).

PCBA refers to a variety of electronic parts, integrated circuits, etc. composed of materials welded or contained in a blank circuit board that undergo thorough quality inspection and test, to ensure that it has a complete circuit connection performance.

“Our skeletal force is doing their share, hidden and silent, but at the same time proud to be enablers and to be supporting front-liners with what they do,” said Arthur R. Tan, chief executive officer.

IMI, the manufacturing arm of AC Industrial Technology Holdings, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ayala Corporation, is among the leading global manufacturing solutions expert in the world.

The company specializes in highly reliable and quality electronics for long product life cycle segments such as automotive, industrial electronics and more recently, the aerospace market.
