IMI’s 40th Anniversary Logo Unveiled

December 13, 2019, Laguna, Philippines — Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc., (IMI) a global technology and manufacturing solutions experts, unveiled its 40th anniversary logo last December 9 at its headquarters in Laguna, Philippines.

Inspired by a ruby stone symbolizing 40 years of solidity, the symbol manifests the company's energy, nobility and passion to continuously provide limitless solutions. It connotes the firm and steadfast position of IMI as a multinational global technology solutions company.

Arthur R. Tan, chief executive officer and Gilles Bernard, president and chief operations officer unveiled the anniversary seal with the theme Forty Years of Limitless Solutions.

“Now for almost 40 years, we have been thriving in some of the technological disruptions across industries in which we are deeply involved. There may have been challenges and there still are, but certainly there were also countless achievements,” said Tan.

"Deeply embedded in the world’s key megatrends, we are confident that we have the right strategies in place, and that our experience, technological flexibility, and wide global footprint will enable us to seize the many opportunities ahead in the next 40 years. Hence our theme on this milestone anniversary-- LIMITLESS SOLUTIONS,” Tan added.

IMI began in August 1980 as a joint venture between Ayala Corporation and Resins, Inc., an integrated circuit assembler with a hundred employees. Today, with around 16,000+ employees and 21 manufacturing plants in ten countries, the company has become a global force in electronics manufacturing and technology solutions, with a diversified client base all over the world.
